Background: Daughter who was born to Miyagi Kiku and Miyagi Kazuki. The child they did not want and the child they were unable to love. The war had made them loveless beings and loved not even each other. Instead they were married for the simpleness of companionship and nothing more. Kazuki was in the Japanese military and was a high ranking general who became targeted once his name became almost legend to the Japanese Army. When his wife gave birth to Deina he had been terribly injured to the point he could fight no longer. In order to hide from his enemies, he and his wife's name was changed. Bearing instead the last name 'McLaren' instead of the family name of 'Miyagi' would not be thought to be held by a Japanese family because of its Scottish origins. It is unknown to her that her last name was ever Miyagi and confuses her as to why a Japanese girl has a Scottish last name and doesn't worry about it. Especially since she doesn't even care of her family's origins. Deina lost her parents at the age of 16. She has no siblings whatsoever. Deina at first lived with her mother's grandmother for a while until she died and then was in foster homes until she reached the age of 18. At 18 she had tried one of the governments' mech simulators just for something to do, but because she excelled so well in it, they asked her to actually come train to become a mech pilot. Originally she denied because she didn't want her life to be controlled by the government. But since her world was that of war and she had nothing of worth in her life in her mind, she quickly changed her mind and joined. She was partnered with Dante whom she had strange chemistry with when it came to working together although they were never romantically together. Nor did she ever have romantic feelings towards him. At the age of 20, Deina had met Jack Logan. Another member of the military whom she had chemistry with on the battlefield. That was until the day that Jack killed his partner. He had betrayed them all. He was a mole placed into base to snoop on Dante and Deina because they were what seemed to be unstoppable force when they were together. And the theory is, everyone has a weakness. In her anger, Deina almost killed Jack but Dante had stopped her before she would do something he felt she would regret. Jack had enough breath in him to swear revenge on Deina and promised he would be her sworn enemy until they died. Deina 'so gracefully' accepted his offers of hate and returned her own. Jack would now be considered her arch nemesis as far as she was concerned. April 15 in 2004 Deina had fell into the Lunatic Cafe in her mech suit. She would eventually take a waitress job and stay in the nexus in hopes to find a real life in which she was denied in her mind due to her world of war.

Story: My first ever and most developed PB. She is based off the personality of myself and gets the joys of my good days and my bad days when I am RPing her. She's a mech pilot turned waitress at the Lunatic Cafe. She has a complex past that she speaks rarely of although she doesn't hide from it. Two of my friends also have PBs based on their personality which Deina had friended and since they are such a chaotic team, became known as the chaotic trio of both the Lunatic Cafe and Sages of Chaos nexuses. Because I didn't really have or want anyone for her to 'hook up' with she was a random flirty girl who was anti-relationships. In July of this year (2005), she and her trio took a trip to Greece thanks to Kia's now ex-boyfriend Bruce Wayne. And yes, I mean Batman. There she met Kyro Sauron the first man to steal her heart away and that she allowed herself to fall in love with. Kyro was an heir to a fair amount of money and a well established corporation and that caused some conflicts in their privacy since he's always wanted to be seen by the media. Deina's profile was kept secret their entire relationship which ended in September this year (2005) due to Kyro's inability to handle bad things that kept happening to Deina and the fact she went dark for a little while. Silia blocked his memory of her so he wouldn't persue her when she was evil and get himself killed, still to this day he is fuzzy as to why they broke up but lives his life as he had before they ever met. When Deina went into a horror simulator, she had 'died' and her soul had been trapped and tormented before the goddess Silence traded her existence for Deina's freedom. Deina was 'revived' by Silence and sent away. She became guilt-ridden by Sil's sacrifice and tried to kill herself in hopes they would release Sil. Silence reached to Deina in spirit and stopped her and gave all her positive emotions to Deina to make her 'normal' again. Being a Goddess of Chaos at the time, Silence broke her pact to stay imprisioned in the simulator which in turn gave Sil back her emotions. At the time that finally her blocked negative emotions came back to her, the keeper of the simulation inserted a curse of evil on Deina. Turning her bad. She was depressed over the loss of her first love (so dramatic, I know) and didn't fight the evil at first. Eventually she had two personalities. The real her and an evil variation of herself. Enter new romantic interest of Devin Desario. Sent to help her in her fight against Nicola (her evil side), their love-hate relationship turned into that of more than just friends during his time of being her guardian. Due to Sheri's stupidity they were sent into the horror simulation again and once there, Nicola had taken control of Deina's body and tried to kill Dev. Thanks to her fighting so hard due to the fact she had already almost killed Kyro as Nicola, she regained control and stabbed herself to keep Nicola from killing Dev. The selfless act released her of any parts of Nicola and is now free of that curse. Currently, Deina is helping in slaying vampires in Buffy the vampire slayer's world while teaching martial arts in Buff's dojo. She still waitresses at the Lunatic Cafe and is still dating Devin. In storyline a friend in her world, Sabrina, becomes in trouble and meditates on the strength Deina once showed her thus calling Deina back to her own realm. She was caught in her world for a few days due to Fate deciding she needed to be there and Sabrina's thoughts pulling her there. On return, she realizes she may not of finished what fate wanted her to finish. Thus she is going to return back to her world, despite her boyfriend's protests. Once she feels she completes what she needs to in her world, she will try to portal them home only for them to end in New Jersey. Devin realizes he has a new charge there but before they can get on a search for him/her Deina gets arrested for a crime in which Nicola had done on tour and her explainations of who Nicola is ends her up in the psych ward. With Lukas and Jersey. It seems that within the ward, is Devin's new challenging charge.
